What makes our blog such a powerful resource is...you! We want to encourage you to share your own questions, opinions and experiences, so please feel free to click the Comments link at the bottom of every blog entry if you'd like to view other people's comments or add your own.
The FOCUS+ blog is a place where you can:
Learn about upcoming events and presentations and find "pre-read" materials if available;
Find summaries, handouts and videos from previous presentations;
Share your own questions, comments or experiences about these things;
Offer suggestions for new topics and feedback regarding the group.
A few quick ground rules for posting to the blog:
Please
remember to always be respectful of others when posting.
identify yourself using your real name or an alias (e.g., ADHDChef or ITGal) if you prefer. We recommend sticking with one alias for all postings.
l
imit questions and comments to the topics being discussed.
do not provide medical, legal or financial advice unless you
have formal qualifications in the area you're discussing. Similarly,
when reading the advice of others, always be sure to double-check it with someone you trust before committing to any course of action.
We reserve the right to remove any posting or comment that we feel is objectionable, inaccurate, a sales pitch, spam or unrelated to the objectives of the FOCUS+ group and blog.
This is not a forum for advertising specific products or services. It's fine to mention a product or service that you've found helpful, but please don't promote it beyond sharing your own experiences with it.
Lastly, and most importantly, please participate!
FOCUS+ members are a diverse group of people with amazing amounts of experience and different perspectives on many ADHD issues and other opics of interest to the group. If you have a question, the odds are that others also share it with you. If you have a personal experience or expertise in a subject, it's also likely that there are others in our group who would benefit from you sharing it.
